of cute pens & notepads

I like collecting cutie pens and notepads. I have always been fond of cute and girly stuff, blame it on my kiddie height and on the child in me that will never go away. ^_^

As a child, I remember always feeling happy whenever I receive those pretty organizer notebooks during Christmas or on my birthday. It served as my toys in my teenage years and helped me be a *bit* organized with my daily-life schedule - as if the 14-year-old me had that much events to go to and stuff to do. Do homework, clean my room, buy this-and-that, things-to-pack for a field trip, read this book, watch my fave-at-the-moment anime, do the laundry, wash the dishes, meet up with friends, go to Megamall with the family are what you'd mostly see scribbled in a doctor-like-script in the pages of my organizers. I once ran out of pages and I didn't wanna buy filler pages 'cause they're super plain and dull, so I made my own pages! Hey, I am  no art club member for nothing. Lol! And I actually still have those pages now (in that blue and red organizer with Samurai X stickers). Preserving them, you can say. Lol!

It is apparent I haven't let go of my collecting habit. From diaries to organizers, it has now grown to include sticky-notes/post-its and pens! I don't need them most of the time but I find reasons to buy one if I see an absolutely cute notebook. It didn't help that dollar stores sell them and of course, at the cost of only a dollar! let me tell you, it is one of my joys to hop in to dollar stores and buzz straight to the notebook isle like bees-to-honey (alright, that's a bit exaggerated, but you get what I mean) and just have fun flipping through their pages and admiring their cover designs. One time, I was doing a flip here and there and I saw my mom doing the same, along with the admittance that she just loves buying notebooks. Aha! So that's where I got it from! Haha! We then left the store with a notebook in hand - our "dreams" notebook.

Picking my favorite from the bunch would be easy of course, seeing as I have three of them in that design - the Enakei notebooks. I fell in love with these when I saw them at one dollar store here and to find out that they're not selling them anymore crushed me. Had I known that fact, I would've bought every design they had at that time! Never mind that I don't need them then, I'm sure I'd find a use for them in the future or they could just be my collection. *sigh* I should ask the store owner when they'd restock again and *fingers crossed* hope they give a positive answer.

Oh well, there goes my love story with these notebooks. These simple things bring me joy. Buy me an Enakei notebook, will you? I'll forever love you. \^.^/
